The Platoon had formed a close friendship with another group known as GWG, which included individuals such as HitmanFF and Striker. In the summer of 2005, the two groups organized a joint gathering in Weymouth, where they visited the Bovington tank museum and Stonehenge. This event marked the beginning of what is now known as FUSION, a union between two groups of individuals who shared similar interests and values.
