NEW BUILD WEEK! Here’s what to expect from 2024 Season 2, Week 13, from June 4th to June 10th, 2024.

For the Members: iRacing Official Series Highlights

Every week, iRacing offers daily, even hourly racing that members can get into, based on where their license level is at. There are also some special series that run at specific times that anyone can jump into, with the right credentials, that offer a more meaningful sim racing experience. 

Here are a few of the highlighted series taking place this week.

WEEK 13 SERIES

On Tuesday, June 4th, the 2024 Season 3 build is scheduled to release with new content and updates across the service. Members who want to get in on the new content will get the chance to do so in some of our curated week-long series. New content this build includes a ton, such as two new American GT3s in the Ford Mustang GT3 and the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R, two new Street Stocks options in the Eagle and Casino bodies, and three new tracks, with Circuito de Navarra, the Sachsenring, and Oswego Speedway. This new content will also feature in various Week 13 festivities.

New Content and Features Series* for 2024 Season 2 Week 13 (*all start after build):

• 13^th Week GT3 Challenge – Fixed: GT3s (includes Navarra/Sachsenring, weather adjusted daily)
• 13^th Week Funny Forecast: Porsche Cup, GT4, MX-5 at Nurburgring Industriefahrten (rain expected)
• 13^th Week Wet and Wild: GT4 and LMP3 (includes Navarra/Sachsenring, rain expected)

NASCAR iRACING SERIES

Back in 2024, the NASCAR iRacing Series (Open Setup and Fixed Setup) follows the NASCAR Cup Series schedule for a 36-week racing season. Week 16 is set to take place at Sonoma Raceway, a 55-lap event which utilizes the NASCAR Next Gen Stock Cars from Chevrolet, Ford and Toyota. These races will affect the Sports Car license as opposed to the Oval license.

The races this week are scheduled for:

Fixed Schedule: Wednesday, 21:00 GMT; Friday, 01:00 GMT; Saturday, 10:00 and 16:00 GMT; Monday, 01:00 GMT

Open Schedule: Thursday, 01:00 and 19:00 GMT; Saturday, 01:00 GMT; Sunday, 14:00 GMT

INDYCAR iRACING SERIES

With the return of INDYCAR, the INDYCAR iRacing Series (Open Setup) predominantly follows the real world INDYCAR schedule. It will have full length races on road courses while utilizing amended race distances for the ovals during the 16-week racing season.

The series returns for it’s eighth week of competition, this week on the roads of Road America, utilizing the Dallara IR-18 for 55 laps of racing.

Week 8 Schedule: Thursday, 01:00 GMT; Friday, 20:00 GMT, Saturday, 18:00 GMT; Sunday, 02:00 GMT

• CREVENTIC Endurance Series

Official iRacing eSports

With this week on Week 13, there are no planned official iRacing eSports events. The eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series returns next week at Iowa Speedway while the second round of the eNASCAR Qualifying iRacing Series is due to kick off on June 27th at Chicagoland Speedway. Meanwhile, in case you missed it, both the INDYCAR ButtKicker iRacing Pro Series and the FIA F4 eSports Global Championship were recently announced and will be seen later in the year.
