Cambridge 2004

Before the formation of FUSION, there existed a group known as The Platoon, which initially played a game quite distinct from the one played by its members today. This game, called Close Combat, was released on 13th October 1997. After some time, The Platoon was created following the merger of two individuals known as Leader and Dangleberry. Nearly five years after its establishment, the group held its very first Gathering, which involved members from both the UK and the European mainland convening at Cambridge. During this event, the group spent the weekend at the Holiday Inn Express.
